Anna Pavlova Association
" I learnt Ballet from Helen May, who was one of only eight pupils. That Anna Pavlova ever taught. In her studio within her home at Ivy House, London.
Helen would later become a member of Anna's Ballet Company. She spoke of Anna many times, like the many occasions Vaslav Nijinsky would visit her and help teach the class.
She would talk about Anna, how graceful she was and a perfectionist too. Making her and the rest of the class repeat, until they got every detail right.
About the Swans in her lake at the end of the garden. Every morning she would feed them before class.
Helen was a good teacher too, as I performed for her Ballet Company and she became a close friend of mine.
I hope that The Anna Pavlova Association will be able to fulfil its Aims and Honour Anna Pavlova's memory and legacy properly. "
Elizabeth O'Brien MCIJ, International Journalist. President of The Anna Pavlova Association.

Anna Pavlova Association
The Anna Pavlova Association is a Arts & Cultural Organisation founded in the memory of Anna Pavlova. Ballet's First Icon.
We hope to be able first and foremost, when enough funds have been raised, through your kind and generous donations. To send a pupil/s to Ballet School and Academy on a Scholarship 'The Anna Pavlova Scholarship'.
Also other projects to honour the memory of Anna Pavlova can be arranged like Ballet Gala's, The Anna Pavlova Awards, workshops, literature, lectures, etc.
We also seek good relations with other Ballet & Arts; Schools, Academies, Companies, Organisations, Societies, etc. For this purpose.
In the long term our hope is to buy back Ivy House and restore Anna's Home Studio. To be used as it was before, an Arts & Cultural Centre for the local community, London and the World.
We would appreciate your generosity in donating and supporting this cause.
